Instrument and Rental Info

All Students enrolled in band will be responsible for getting their own instrument.  Here is the information you will need to find the instrument that is right for you!

What we recommend...

  • Students interested in joining band should research the instruments they are most interested in before investing in their instrument.  (Each rental store below has provided their own resources for instrument exploration.  Use their links to find the instrument that is right for you!!!)
  • It is advised that students rent instruments rather than purchase them 1) to see if they will stick with the instrument long term and 2) to establish a relationship with a store that provides repair and upgrade services
  • Research and compare recommended music stores to decide which services fit the needs of your family best

Rental Night Event: All of the music stores listed below will be present at our district "Instrument Rental Night" so that you may attend and "shop" for your instrument and materials.  Rental Night will take place on Thursday, August 24th at Norco Intermediate School from 5:30pm-8pm.  If you are unable to attend a rental night, you can still go to the music stores to get what you will need.
