Here is our plan for concerts this school year!
October "Spooky Sounds": (Dates TBD)
A demonstration of what we have learned so far! 1st few notes and simple songs, advanced student solos, and demonstrations of the unique qualities of each instrument in the band.
December Concert: (Dates TBD)
Some holiday songs and some folk songs using all of the notes and rhythms learned up to this point. Advanced student solos as well.
Spring Concert: (March Dates TBD)
An evening concert combining students from all of Mrs. Diaz's 7 schools playing festival music and celebrating what we have accomplished throughout the school year
Santiago Showcase: (April Dates TBD)
An evening concert requiring a permission slip signed in advance. This concert will combine students from across the district and includes performances from Intermediate and High School Band and Orchestra groups.
End of the Year School Concerts: (May Dates TBD)
Fun Songs! Some band arrangements and some solos to showcase individual student skills and development.
